The Companies Registration Office (CRO) will not accept paper forms and paper financial statements filed after 1st June 2017, they will be returned and if this results in your Annual Return being late, you will be subject to financial penalties and you will lose your audit exemption.
In order to be ready for mandatory electronic filing, you should register for CORE now on www.core.ie and familiarise yourself with their electronic filing system.
You will be able to file the above forms and upload signed PDF copies of your accounts on www.core.ie.
If you do not have a ROS certificate you will still have to lodge the signature pages generated on www.core.ie with the CRO within twenty eight days of filing a return online.
We are currently filling all clients B1, B2, B10 and B73’s online.
The CRO will stop accepting cheques after 1 June 2017, you will still be able to pay them with credit card or by transferring to your CRO customer account.
We have opened an account with the CRO and a client bank account specifically for CRO payments, so if you can not pay with a credit card on www.core.ie, we will accept the payment into our designated client bank account and pay the annual return fee to the CRO on your behalf.
